Graveyard
Heaven has its cheap seats
One really ought to care
Where they place your body
And who you will be near
If you have no money
And they chuck you in the ground
You might find dodgy people
Are living all around
But if they do not spare the cost
And bury you in style
I am sure that special kingdom
Will be closer to your smile
Please let me take my pride with me
“O Lord” I do beseech
Don’t leave me haggling like the rest
.............but simply out of reach
Perhaps the fire I should consume
To help me on my way
So all the little worms
Will leave me just the way
I want to be remembered.
